Stories in the Hopper

As I glide into summer I come up toward a stretch where time, energy, and inspiration may at last coincide to yield a new HOM story. There are two stories that have been percolating in my head for months now. As I've already shared with a few of you backchannel, here are brief synopses:

Anne the Life Coach: Austin is 25 and still living in his mother's basement. So she hires Anne to train Austin to get his ass in gear. Anne is an Olympic gold medalist amazon, and Anne's methods involve lots of physical domination and lots of handgagging...

Jackie Chess: Roto was a way of life. Roto was mouthholding. Roto was the driving beat, the music, the Roto bands, the concerts, the brawls. Jackie held her boyfriend's mouth shut a lot. Jackie, Suzie, Tealeaf, Bonnie Blue... all the Roto girls were wild silencing mouthholders! It was a way of life.

When will I have a story written? No idea. Which story will come first? It remains to be seen. But trust, effendi; all things come to him who waits.
