The Near Future
Lately I've been feeling recuperated at last from writing the final three chapters of my Tiger's Eye novel. And some story ideas have been percolating in my mind. With Christmas rushing up, nothing is going to get written right away, but into the new year I do hope to be writing and posting some new HOM fiction.
I'm planning to get back to writing some shorter and simpler stories, like I used to write years ago. For personal reasons which I've shared with some of you, my writing took an abrupt turn four and a half years ago, and since then I've been writing less often, but also writing longer and more complex stories, including not only my novel but also one near novella-length story (Monsieur Hankey) and several lengthier and more intricate short stories (Life in the Jerri Zone, The Giantess Next Door, Requiem for a Mouthheld Man, and Riah Never Let Go) as well as a collection of brief Snapshots. I think that path was worth pursuing, and I'm pleased with most of what resulted from it, but I'm now feeling a need to get back to basics.
So, I have several stories bubbling around in my head. A couple have been there for many long years, and I've mentioned them privately to some of you: a superhero mind-control HOM story (Iron Crown) and a science fiction HOM story (Asteroid Blues). A couple would be sequels to stories I wrote several years ago (January in All Her Glory, a sequel to The Gag by Night; Federal Gag Prison, a sequel to Gag Order). But (not a common occurrence these past 4½ years) some new story ideas have also come to me, including a gritty
I'd also like to get back to writing some short simple hand fetish and nail fetish and general femdom-hand stories, as I sometimes did in the earlier days of this blog. But I think I'll be turning out a HOM story or two first, as we come up on the tenth anniversary of Tales from the Yellow Hand.
