Vintage HOM Fiction from Mr. Smothers' SMN
Over at FHFU I've been posting some HOM fiction which was available on Mr. Smothers' SMN website back around December 2002. Until recently these stories were accessible through the Wayback Machine, which for some reason no longer grants access to any pages from SMN.
However... once upon a time I did retrieve and save copies of these old vintage HOM stories (unlike the lost stories at the more recent SHOnline and SHOnline2 forums). And so I've been reposting them at FHFU, at the rate of a story or two every day. By the time I'm finished, there will be something like 40 stories in all!
Back in 2002 Mr. Smothers wrote, "The stories below represent my current collection; many have been lost due to hardware crashes and other nasty stuff over the years..." There are stories here by LydiaM, Damon, Jenny, LK & Friends, and more. (Jenny from Sweden was the original pioneer of online HOM fiction back around the turn of the millennium.) Check them out. And enjoy! :-)

BTW, I should mention, I've got an upcoming HOM story of my own which I've been promising to people for months now. Yes, it's that piece of historical fiction set in the late 19th century.
The story has been pretty well complete in my head for some time now, but for the past several months I've been extremely busy out here in the real world. Work-related; and no idea when the rush is going to let up. So... my next HOM story will be appearing eventually, though I'm afraid I have no idea when that will be.
In the meanwhile, there's more than enough of that vintage HOM fiction from SMN to keep a reader occupied. I'll eventually post everything I've got, with the exception of a few pieces which would violate forum rules; and a few other pieces which, as far as I can tell, contain a lot of action but essentially no HOM. Like I say, enough material to keep a reader occupied for a long, long time!
