Ride, Sally Ride

It was 1983, and 32 year old astronaut Sally Ride became the first American woman in space. I remember it from the days of my misspent youth. What I didn't remember, and didn't realize till I started doing Google image searches, was how large Sally's hands were. Talk about a woman with big hands! Big smooth hands...

Would you want big-handed Sally Ride floating weightless right behind your back, up there in orbit? All of a sudden to find Sally's big smooth soft strong hand fastened firmly over your mouth?

A voice from the radio: "This is Mission Control, are you still there?"

"Mmmmmmmmhhh, mmmmm hmmmmm mmmmmmmmhh, hhhmmmm MMMMMMMMMHHH!!"

"Houston, this is Sally, I've got my hand over his mouth and I'm not going to let him speak another word!"

They say no horseplay in space, but Sally Ride jumps you in zero gravity. She clamps her large smooth warm strong hand over your mouth, she's got you handgagged as the two of you spin and tumble together in the weightlessness of outer space. "Mmmmmmmhhhhhhh, hhmmmmmm!!" You can't get your mouth open beneath Sally's tight squeezing hand! Sally Ride is one mean handgag gal in space...
