A Nail Remark Overheard

I was walking down a hallway in a public building, and passing me going the other way was a young couple. And she was waving her long smooth beautiful hands at him, and she said, "And then I had... I had nails like claws one time!"

He: "Oh yeah, those nails." As if "nails like claws" was an unremarkable category, familiarly known to one and all.
