Small Hands, Big Problem?

Here's one I stumbled across on a blog out there:

If you're a guy, do relationships fall apart because your hands aren't bigger than the hands of the person you're dating and that just seems weird from a "chivalry is not dead" kind of perspective where you feel your manliness slipping away because the girl you're dating claps louder than you and can catch flies in mid-air (unlike you) and can palm a basketball (which you can't do to save your life)?

I find myself being concerned about these things on a daily basis.

I'm not going to get into the measuring scenario here. I'm not going to tell you how I measured my hands and found them to be smaller than the hands of people whose hands look small to me upon looking at them in casual social situations... I'm also not going to tell you about the time I did that "let's see whose hands are bigger" thing with a potential date and upon realizing my hands were smaller than hers, everything fell apart.

Funny, my wife Deb's hands are larger than mine, and it's never been any problem for us... to put it mildly... ;-)

I once dated a man w/ teeny, tiny hands, and it felt like I was holding a raccoon's paw when he would hold my hand. It creeped me out.

Or maybe it's just that Jenny's hands are way large? How do you suppose it feels to the man, feeling his hand engulfed and swallowed up inside the huge expanse of Jenny's oversized hand?

I have the reverse problem. I'm a fairly attractive average size 27 year old woman with huge hands. I can palm a man's basketball and have met few guys with bigger mits than mine. I used to hate my hands when I was younger but have grown to love them. They are big, strong, capable and they are MINE. Also, I've never never met a guy yet who can clap louder than me, but I've never had any problems with their manliness!!!

And if Jackie does have any problems with a guy, she can just clamp her "huge hands," her "big, strong, capable" hands, big enough to "palm a man's basketball" -- she can just clamp her huge hands tight over a man's mouth and nose, until she has him "hand clamped" into submission... "MMMMMMMMHHH!!"
