The Gigantic Hands of Jean Maru

There's a neighbor woman around here named Jean. (No connection with the "Jean" in my other recent post.) Jean is in her late thirties, a bit of an odd looker but attractive in her own way. I mean, Jean is tall, slender but quite big boned. Call her five foot ten; and like I say, slender, but with big broad shoulders and big sturdy bones. Short ash blonde hair, wide set eyes, prominent cheek bones, pouty bee stung lips.

Like I say, attractive in her own odd way: thin, but big head, big hands, big feet. Jean must wear size 14 shoes, and her hands are just as oversized as her feet. Jean has gigantic hands, big smooth womanly hands, but her hands are several sizes too large. Like, you take one look at Jean's hands and you do a double take, because it's hard to believe that a woman, even a woman of Jean's height and big boned frame, could have such big gigantic hands.

Jean's hands are long, broad, beautifully shaped, but way too big. The back of Jean's hand is soft, smooth, creamy, but you can tell just to look at them that Jean's hands are strong. Long, nicely shaped but sturdy fingers. Big broad fingernails. And Jean sometimes lets her fingernails grow out long.

A few years ago, Jean was into letting all her nails grow out up to a quarter of an inch long, except for the last two nails on her left hand, which were three eighths of an inch long. Lately Jean's been keeping her nails trimmed shorter, usually no more than an eighth of an inch long, though sometimes she gets sloppy and forgetful and lets a few nails go.

Imagine a woman with big, smooth, oversized hands that look very definitely like a woman's beautiful hands, but powerful and strong. That's Jean. One look at her hands, and you know this is a woman who can crack walnuts without effort. I've had a chance several times to shake hands with Jean, and her hands are firm and hard, like warm velvet over strong sturdy hardwood. And Jean has a strong, firm, tight squeezing, almost too firm handshake. You wonder how tight her grip would be if she ever really cut loose, and squeezed her hand on you as tight as she could!

And Jean is a handgagger. Several times I've seen Jean clamp her large hand firmly over the mouth of a noisy kid.

One time I was taking a video of a community event, and I managed to get several good vidclips of Jean helping out, good video shots with close-ups of Jean's huge, smooth, beautiful woman hands. I even edited them together later into a video, "The Gigantic Hands of Jean Maru" (you know, sort of like "The Million Eyes of Su Maru"), with a soundtrack of that familiar song, "Let me go on, like a blister in the sun, let me go on, big hands I know you're the one..."

No, I can't post that vidclip, even if I knew where or how. Too many cars with identifiable license plates in those shots.

Many of us, I think, may have a woman like Jean in the neighborhood, an attractive neighbor woman with the most astonishingly large smooth gigantic beautiful hands...
